Invisalign Braces in Sydney
Invisalign
Invisalign® is an orthodontic product designed to effectively correct various orthodontic issues. Treatment with Invisalign® clear aligners aims to provide you with a balanced, even smile, straighter teeth, and improved overall dental health. Using clear, removable aligners, this method of straightening teeth offers a more flexible and less noticeable alternative to traditional metal braces.
What Are Invisalign® Clear Aligners?
Invisalign® clear aligners consist of thin, clear plastic trays that apply constant pressure to teeth to move them gradually. These aligners, resembling traditional mouthguards, are changed every one to two weeks. They are worn day and night but can be removed for eating, flossing, and cleaning your teeth. Each aligner gradually shifts the teeth until the desired result is achieved.
Many adults avoid straightening their teeth due to the visibility of traditional braces. Invisalign® clear aligners elegantly solve this problem as they are virtually undetectable and more comfortable, often becoming forgettable to the wearer.
While they should be worn consistently, it’s acceptable to remove them for up to two hours a day, when attending special social occasions, for important presentations, or daily brushing and flossing.
Making you comfortable is our top priority
How Does Invisalign Work?
Invisalign aligners gradually move your teeth into a straighter, more attractive position without anyone knowing, thanks to their virtually invisible design.
Every one to two weeks, you’ll switch to a new set of aligners that builds on the progress of the previous set. At your orthodontic appointments, you’ll receive enough aligners to last 6 to 8 weeks.
Treatment duration varies depending on the severity of your orthodontic issues. Minor corrections can show results in as little as three months, while more significant orthodontic work typically takes 12 to 18 months.
Invisalign is a medical device, so always read and follow the instructions for use and adhere to your orthodontist’s guidelines.

What's the Process?
After an initial consultation with your dentist or an orthodontist, a 3D digital image of your teeth will be created. From this image, a set of custom aligners will be made specifically for you. You’ll also be able to see a computerized estimate of how your teeth will look once the treatment is complete, giving you a realistic understanding of the final proposed outcome.
Each aligner is typically worn for one to two weeks before moving to the next one in the series. Treatment can take between 3 to 18 months, with visits to the dentist or orthodontist approximately every 4 to 6 weeks. The number of aligners needed varies for each patient based on their treatment plan.

Who is Invisalign for?
Invisalign for Children
The Australian Society of Orthodontists recommends that children have an orthodontic consultation between the ages of 7 and 11, in addition to regular visits to their family dentist. A standard treatment for children in this age group is Phase 1 treatment, which prepares their teeth and jaws for orthodontic treatment during their teenage years. Invisalign First aligners are specifically designed for younger patients, effectively reducing the amount of orthodontic treatment needed in the future.

Invisalign for Teens
Teenagers and braces often go hand-in-hand, but that doesn’t make it any easier or cooler—until now! They can undergo treatment to straighten their teeth and achieve a beautiful smile without friends or teachers knowing. Moreover, Invisalign treatment doesn’t impact a teen’s lifestyle. The aligners can be discreetly removed and stored in their case if they will impact certain activities such as playing sports, or a musical instrument, attending special social events and when school photographs are being taken. Teens need to wear them for 22 hours per day to achieve the best results.
Invisalign for Adults
Invisalign is a popular treatment among adults for good reason. The virtually invisible aligners ensure that orthodontic treatment doesn’t affect a patient’s appearance, boosting self-confidence since the appliance isn’t noticeable to others. This makes Invisalign an ideal teeth straightening option for adults in client-facing jobs, such as retail and air travel. Additionally, the removable aligners can be taken out for important business presentations or public speeches, offering added flexibility.
Advantages of Invisalign® Clear Aligners
